I made this list. Then, I zipped over to my friend Jorja’s blog to reread her introduction for her post titled Why Lists are Good (Yes, I am a copy cat.). I don’t know if I have 84 things about me That I Want Everyone To Know, ha. It’s a great way to get to know you, though.

The same hairdresser for 22 years! Shocking! I so wish I could find one hairdresser that could do my hair to make me happy.

Territorial? Me too. Which isn’t a good trait for working in an office cubicle farm. Which reminds me…I’m at work…and lunch time is over. I’ll peruse your list more later; maybe I’ll start a little list of my own. Nothing like borrowing from other bloggers; that’s what makes the blogosphere go round.

  2. So excited to see your comment ;-)Please, please make your list- you will be surprised how much fun it is-Now, about my hairdresser- who said anything about me being happy? Michael is like my brother- within reason, he will do as I ask- but I kid him all the time- telling him it doesn’t do any good for me to tell him what I want, he does what he wants with my hair anyway- his response: “that’s right honey.” Territorial :you bet- nothing like a good cat fight- over cubicles, husbands, jump ropes… looking forward to your list

Great and fun list. I live just off Highway 495…could be a long post for me :)

Off the top of my head:

I met Darth Vader (Dave Prowse) when I was 9.
I retired voluntarily from teaching at 28, and was given a $1000 in redundancy. With that I bought a plane ticket to the US.
My fav movies are Shawshank Redemption, ET, Lion King ans The Empire Strikes Back.

  5. I don’t drink coffee or go camping either!
Great list. I’m not sure I could come up with 84.

  6. Hi Joanna-
Funny thing about the list- first, I had a ball writing it;-) first 50 or so came fast- last 10 were hardest- only ended up taking out 3 — I had just written the post about my matching lingerie and my VB matchy match obsession- took those out-
Think the two us may be the ones on this planet who don’t drink coffee. I guess I never made it past the “this tastes yucky” as a little girl-
I want you to work on your list- I am going to ask my readers to post their lists- next week, so you have a head start… haven’t decided exactly how- yet (Logistics) can’t wait- so glad you visited ;-)

What a great list! Isn’t it strange to meet someone with your name, especially if it’s an unusual one?

I related to quite a few on your list. Thank you for viewing my list. It was quite fun to do.

  10. I bet you have been addressed as MR. a few times, too! I try to include my middle name when possible, but just too many dang letters to do that online ;-) hoping the pictures help-
btw love your site- burlap, buttons, paper- we would have a ball together in my sewing room! I am so glad you zipped over

  11. I discovered the 84-lists this morning and have been following their trail off and on today; very, very different lists, very, very different people writing them — fascinating. I may have got to the end of the line. I am not going to publish an 84 list on my blog, I don’t want to write trivia and I am too private to write the big stuff like being somewhat more atheist than Buddhist and definitely not Christian.

BTW you said you read grammar books [or is that Grammar with a cap G and some series I've never heard of?] — I’m surprised you write that “sleep alludes” you — oops!
